Austin Hayes
Austin Hayes is the Director of Student Ministries at Henderson. He has been in youth ministry for over three years now and looks forward to many more years. Austin also works with youth sports programs including baseball, softball, football, and basketball.
Austin lives in Stuttgart, Arkansas where he has a small cattle farm and also works for the City of Stuttgart Parks department as the Pool Manager.
His goals for Henderson's youth are to be very involved in community programs. To "Love people where they are" is the goal for the youth. Being the hand and feel of Christ is a privilege that Henderson takes great pride in and plans to do the best job that they can to be an encouragement to those around them.
Austin would like to share three of his favorite Bible verses:
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus or Lord. Romans 8:35-39
Just as a body, through one, has many parts, but all its many parts for one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body - whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free - and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. Even so the body is not made up of one part but many. 1 Corinthians 12:12-14
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12
