Brandy Hansberry
Brandy Hansberry was born in Newport, Arkansas earlier than expected. Her favorite picture of herself is one where her father is holding her and she fits in the palm of his hand. Brandy was raised in Little Rock and graduated from Mills High School in 1995. While attending Mills Brandy met the man of her dreams, James Hansberry, who she married after high school. Before they were married, Brandy always told James she wanted 4 children and his response was always “no, fifty-one”. They have now been married for 13 years and have three beautiful boys and one precious daughter.
Brandy has always loved working with children. There are very few jobs around that let you act silly and they actually pay you for it. She loves seeing children learn about God and His great love with the amazing wonder in their eyes that always appears when telling them that God loves them. Brandy has worked as the Children’s Garden Development Center Director since 2004 and as the Henderson’s Children’s Minister since 2006.
